Mac OS X uses HFS range of file system which is considered as the secure file system from corruptions point of view. But there are some situations which can corrupt the Mac OS X volumes to a great extent. This error message from ‘Disk Utility’ clearly indicates that the volume is corrupted due to which files and folders stored in the volume has become inaccessible.
